Tour the Museums

The Marland Estate has several small historic museums housed in original buildings that have been restored. These areas in the Artist Studio and Lydie's Cottage (formerly the chauffeur's cottage) each relate to Mr. Marland and help visitors learn more about his unique history.

Bryant Baker Gallery - The working studio of Baker, sculptor of the famous Pioneer Woman Statue, features 44 plaster maquettes and busts.
John Duncan Forsyth Room - This area offers background information about the Master Architect of the Marland Mansion, who also built many other homes in Ponca City and Tulsa.
Marland Oil Museum - Archival photographs and artifacts highlight the oil company history that Mr. Marland founded in Ponca City early in the 20th century.
Marland Family Exhibit - Highlights of the Marland family back in Pennsylvania and in Oklahoma are presented, including leisure time activities and philanthropic ventures.
