This gold domed ceiling welcomes visitors to the gallery level of the mansion. Italian stone carver, Pelligrini, added a whimsical touch with two owls peering out of the stairway niches through glowing red eyes. The stone-carved arches and column caps were sculpted by Conrad Berglund from Sweden.

Throughout the mansion are custom made wrought iron doors, railings, window guards and ornamental fixtures. The wrought iron was heated until flexible, and then shaped by hand.
