Since ancient times, humans have been intrigued by angels. Angels
represent messengers of God, are present in all religions and
have appeared in artwork and architecture through the ages.
The artists of the Marland Mansion have depicted many varieties
of angels. Some are rich in detail, others are formed in stone,
still others are carved into wood furniture.
